Moss walls and art made of mummified moss are a unique element in any interior. Moss walls are perfect maintenance-free interior decoration, as they require very little care. All you need to do is to dust them every once in a while.

Mummified moss is a genuine living plant. The moisture from the leaves has been replaced with environmentally friendly, biodegradable preservative. The plants can then be preserved for many years and they retain their natural appearance, colour and specific odour.

The durability of the preserved moss depends on the place of its installation. Under normal conditions, it keeps its appearance and properties for approximately 10 years. Our moss is the most suitable for indoor environments with optimal level of relative humidity and temperature. These conditions are met by almost all residential and office spaces.

Our mummified moss is provided by the largest, time-proven and trusted European manufacturers. We know that only top quality can guarantee great results. Precise and meticulous craftsmanship is a typical feature of all our projects. Our offer includes three kinds of moss: bun moss, flat moss and reindeer moss.

HOW DO WE WORK?

Call us, send us an email, send us pictures of your interior or invite us to your house or office. We will prepare the graphic design so you can imagine how the moss wall will brighten your interior. If you wish, we will even deliver you a frame in any material you desire. The moss walls are made from individual buns or pieces of moss that are manually glued to a board (OSB, MDF, chipboard etc.) while using a special, ecological glue. Nevetheless it's also no problem to make any other shape - organic or geometric. In the end, we'll install the moss wall at your place anywhere in Czech Republic or Slovakia.

MOSS WALLS WITH PRESERVED PLANTS

In addition to today's common design based on a combination of different types of moss, we realize moss walls in arrangement with canned plants.

This opens up completely new, endless possibilities of combinations and design. The combination of many years of experience in the production of moss walls, perfect knowledge of the material and precise floristic skills create impressive and completely original works.

MOSS WALLS ACOUSTICS

Also this year we are introducing a new feature in the form of acoustic screens and panels . Canned moss absorbs sound waves very well and its acoustic properties are comparable to the most powerful acoustic panels.

These mobile screens are available in several frame sizes and colors (white, black, anthracite) . In addition, the screens can be connected to achieve any length. The design of the individual screens is optional, the layout of the inner frames is based on three unified dimensions.

The individual inner frames can also be used separately as a wall-hung acoustic panel, either individually or in collage.

Tips and recommendations:

We don't do neither recommend green walls from icelandic or nordic moss which is actually scientifically lichen (Cladonia stellaris or Cladonia rangiferina). The growth of lichens is very slow - just 0,3 - 0,5 cm per year. Restoration of lichen colony after extraction is therefore very slow process. There are two main negative features of stabilized lichen if they are used in the interior - because of low relative air humidity lichen hardens and becomes very fragile so when touched it starts to decompose and gradually degrade. Because of it's porous structure dust can get very easily inside lichen but it's almost impossible to get it out.
